To kick-off our new “Designer’s Look“ series, we are thrilled to showcase a collaboration with interior designer Deirdre O’Connell of Dtale Design. The Finline furniture selected for the renovation of this luxurious family home are wonderfully contemporary and colourful, adding a touch of sophisticated playfulness to the period property and making an expansive lounge warm and inviting. Sofa: The Heidi
Deirdre chose the stylish Heidi sofa with a soft-sloping arm and clean-line style as the main stay for the room. Available in many sizes, the slim shape is robust and charming.
Fabric: Layla Mist
The neutral, subtle herringbone fabric used on the Heidi sofa is as hardwearing as it is handsome. Deirdre used this popular material as the base fabric for the scheme. Layla is part of Finline’s Silver fabric collection.
Centre: Ottogrand
This large footstool serves equally as a footrest, coffee table and centre styling piece. Deirdre used the flat top version; a button top is also available, as is a range of different legs.
Fabric: Lovely Rose
The ottoman fabric used is Lovely Rose, a durable velvet feel material with a dusty texture. The colour adds a gentle pink tone to the moody living room. Lovely is part of Finline’s Gold fabric collection.
Armchair: Sebastian
With a nod to mid-century design, this armchair is a firm favourite of Deirdre. With clean lines and box arms, it sits atop high raised wooden legs. It compliments the Heidi sofa, while adding a contrasting style.
Fabric: Boho Cream
The Sebastian armchair features in the Boho Cream fabric, a hardworking neutral fabric that can work with many design schemes. Boho is part of Finline’s Gold fabric collection.
Footstool: The Pluto
Small but mighty, the Pluto footstool brings a touch of charm. Whether used for resting your feet or as an eye-catching decorative piece, it adds a light-hearted and artistic flair to this living room.
Fabric: Paris Landscape
A firm favourite of Finline’s clients, the Paris Landscape mixed weave fabric adds depth and texture to the room scheme. It features on the Pluto footstool and in scatter cushions and is part of the Platinum fabric collection.
