Design Notes

Maddox Headboard

The Maddox headboard showcases angular lines and sloped cutouts, making it a bold focal point in any bedroom. Its timeless design stands out effortlessly, yet it offers customisation options like studding or contrast piping. You can select from a variety of fabrics, including plush velvet or bold geometric prints, to tailor it to your style. Available in any size, the Maddox headboard fits perfectly into your space.

Our Valentina headboard is also scalloped in shape.

All of our bed headboards mount directly to the wall above the bed using a beechwood French cleat. This design allows them to work with any mattress height or divan base, making the headboard adaptable to any bed. The flexible design means you won’t have to replace your headboard if you change your bed or mattress.

We supply the timber battens for easy installation. Customers will need to attach the battens to the wall at the height that best suits their bed and room.

Fabrics

Our extensive variety of high-quality exclusive fabrics allows you to customise your headboard to suit your colour palette and texture preferences, infusing your bedroom with a unique sense of luxury and comfort.

Any fabric can be upholstered on any headboard. Our collection is broken into 4 categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold and our most exclusive being our Platinum Collection. The choice of fabric determines the cost of each piece.

Pairing

The Maddox effortlessly complements soft, cosy bedding. Plush throws, warm blankets, and pillows with gentle curves or scalloped details can create a coordinated look. By incorporating the rounded shape of the headboard into other design elements, you can tie the room together and achieve a balanced, cohesive feel.

Studding

The Maddox headboard has the option of a studding feature in either old gold, chrome or antique studs.

Caring For Your Headboard

For best care, we recommend regularly vacuuming your upholstery using a soft brush attachment or a handheld brush.
In the event of spills, promptly blot the area with a clean, soft, absorbent cloth to gently lift the liquid.

Most of our fabrics can be treated with a stain resistant coating. We recommend Aqua-dry to assist with both upholstery cleaning and protection.

Access, Delivery & Payment Terms

Access

Customers need to ensure there is adequate space to install & deliver the furniture. We will make every effort to assist you in this process. Please see attached our Access Sheet which will help you decide if a sofa needs adjustment to allow it to be delivered through a tighter or awkward space. Items to watch out for are sofas that are increased in width, rooms that have a narrow hallways on approach, offset doors or a stairs opposite the doorway.

Leadtime & Delivery

When you place an order, our sales staff will provide you with the exact lead times, which can vary depending on business levels and the availability of fabric or raw materials.

We deliver Nationwide – see more on delivery information here. Our courier company will be in contact and will give appropriate notice of delivery dates & times. Every piece of furniture is placed in the room of your choice and packaging taken away to be recycled.

You can also pick up your order directly from our factory in Emo, Co. Laois. Each piece can be wrapped in protective packaging should customers wish, free of charge.

Collection from the factory can be arranged in advance. Please ring 48hrs before collection so we can make sure to have your furniture ready at our loading bay.

Payment Terms

A deposit is taken at order confirmation. Your salesperson will confirm the amount of deposit required on your order. The balance payment must be made in full in advance of the order being delivered or collected.
