Valentina Headboard Design Notes

The Valentina features a scalloped shape, making it a timeless design choice that adds elegance and softness to any bedroom. Its unique, curved lines, resembling soft waves or arches, create a sense of flow and visual interest. Scalloped headboards offer versatility, enhancing both classic and contemporary bedroom designs with style and sophistication.

Our Maddox headboard also is scalloped in shape.

All of our bed headboards mount directly to the wall above the bed with the beechwood French cleat which allows them to work flawlessly with any mattress height or divan base. This adaptable design allows you to replace your headboard, even if you change your bed or mattress.

We provide the timber battens to allow you to easily hang the headboard on the wall. At the height that suits your bed and room, customers fit the battens to the wall themselves.

Fabrics

Our extensive range of high-quality exclusive fabrics allows you to customise your headboard to suit your style preferences, making your bedroom unique with a sense of luxury and comfort.

Any fabric can be upholstered on any headboard. Our fabrics collection is broken into 4 categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold and our most exclusive being our Platinum Collection. The choice of fabric determines the cost of each piece. Our fabrics are also available to purchase by the meter.

Piping

Piping on a headboard adds a thin, rounded trim of fabric along the edges or seams of the upholstery. It can either match the headboard fabric or create contrast for added visual appeal. On the Valentina headboard, piping not only emphasizes the scalloped design but also enhances its structure, creates contrast, and delivers a polished, unified look. This versatile detail continues to be a favourite in both traditional and modern headboard designs.

Pairing

A scalloped headboard pairs beautifully with soft, inviting bedding, like plush throws, cosy quilts, and pillows with subtle curves or scalloped edges. You can echo the rounded lines of the headboard in other design elements to create a harmonious, cohesive look.

Studding

Selective headboards have the option of a studding feature in either old gold, chrome or antique.

Caring For Your Headboard

For best care, we recommend regularly vacuuming your upholstery using a soft brush attachment or a handheld brush.
In the event of spills, promptly blot the area with a clean, soft, absorbent cloth to gently lift the liquid.

Most of our fabrics can be treated with a stain resistant coating. We recommend Aqua-dry to assist with both upholstery cleaning and protection.

Access, Delivery & Payment Terms

Access

Customers need to ensure there is adequate space to install & deliver the furniture. We will make every effort to assist you in this process. Please see attached our Access Sheet which will help you decide if a sofa needs adjustment to allow it to be delivered through a tighter or awkward space. Items to watch out for are sofas that are increased in width, rooms that have a narrow hallways on approach, offset doors or a stairs opposite the doorway.

Leadtime & Delivery

When you place an order, our sales staff will provide you with the exact lead times, which can vary depending on business levels and the availability of fabric or raw materials.

We deliver Nationwide – see more on delivery information here. Our courier company will be in contact and will give appropriate notice of delivery dates & times. Every piece of furniture is placed in the room of your choice and packaging taken away to be recycled.

You can also pick up your order directly from our factory in Emo, Co. Laois. Each piece can be wrapped in protective packaging should customers wish, free of charge.

Collection from the factory can be arranged in advance. Please ring 48hrs before collection so we can make sure to have your furniture ready at our loading bay.

Payment Terms

A deposit is taken at order confirmation. Your salesperson will confirm the amount of deposit required on your order. The balance payment must be made in full in advance of the order being delivered or collected.
