Design Notes

Jules Headboard Design Notes

The Jules headboard attaches securely to the wall with a beechwood French cleat, offering flexibility to accommodate any mattress height or divan base. This adaptable feature means you won’t have to replace the headboard if you switch your bed or mattress.

To simplify installation, we include timber battens, allowing you to adjust the height to match your bed and room setup. However, you will need to mount the battens onto the wall yourself.

Fabrics

Our wide range of premium fabrics gives you the freedom to customise your headboard to match your colour palette and texture preferences. This allows you to bring a unique touch of luxury and comfort to your bedroom.

Although we have 3,000 fabrics available some customers like to provide their own fabric. All our sofas, chairs and headboards can be made using customers own material.

You can choose any fabric to upholster any headboard style. Our fabric collection is organised into four categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and our exclusive Platinum Collection. The fabric you select will determine the price of your piece. Additionally, our fabrics are available for purchase by the meter.

Piping

Piping on a headboard is a slender, rounded fabric detail that lines the edges or seams of the upholstery. Caring For Your Headboard

Caring For Your Jules Headboard

For best care, we recommend regularly vacuuming your upholstery using a soft brush attachment or a handheld brush.
In the event of spills, promptly blot the area with a clean, soft, absorbent cloth to gently lift the liquid.

All of our fabrics can be treated for stain resistance, and we highly recommend Aqua-dry for their exceptional performance.

Delivery & Payment Terms

Leadtime & Delivery

When you place an order, our sales staff will provide you with the exact lead times, which can vary depending on business levels and the availability of fabric or raw materials.

We deliver Nationwide – see more on delivery information here. The courier company will deliver your furniture at a time that is convenient for you. Every piece of furniture is placed in the room of your choice and packaging taken away to be recycled.

You can also pick up your order directly from our factory in Emo, Co. Laois. Each piece can be wrapped in protective packaging should customers wish, free of charge.

Payment Terms

A deposit is taken at order confirmation. Your salesperson will confirm the amount of deposit required on your order. The balance payment must be made in full in advance of the order being delivered or collected. We are unable to let furniture leave our factory that is unpaid. Refunds are given at Finline’s discretion. Authorisation is needed from management and may take up to 10 days to process.

All of our Finline headboards mount directly to the wall, allowing them to work perfectly with any mattress height or divan base making it a headboard adjustable to any bed style and height. This flexible design means you won’t need to replace your headboard, even if you change your bed or mattress in the future.

We provide the timber battens to allow you to easily hang the headboard. At the height that suits your bed and room, customers must fit the battens to the wall themselves.
