We Are The Sustainable Choice
At Finline, we are acutely aware that sustainability is a journey. We are constantly monitoring and measuring our carbon footprint to align our business to national and international targets to reach net-zero emissions. We continue to reduce our energy consumption, transition our energy sources and work with our supply chain to minimise our environmental impact, ensuring the longevity of our business and the earth.
Sourcing Quality Sustainable Materials
We craft our sofas and chairs using durable, sustainable timber frames. We source FSC-certified timber from responsibly managed forests that provide environmental and social benefits. Skilled artisans handcraft our kiln-dried Beechwood timber in a local workshop located less than 5km from our factory. We prioritise sustainability by selecting fabrics from the most eco-friendly sources, with many coming from European mills.
Fabrics
We offer an extensive variety of high-quality exclusive fabrics, allowing you to customise your sofas and chairs to match your colour palette and texture preferences. This lets you add a unique touch of luxury and comfort to your bedroom. With the launch of Fortis, our first 100% recycled fabric range, we demonstrate our commitment to sustainability.
You can upholster any fabric on any piece of Finline furniture. Our fabric collection includes four categories: Bronze, Silver, Gold, and our most exclusive, the Platinum Collection. The fabric you choose determines the cost of each piece. You can also purchase our fabrics by the meter.
Long-Lasting Life Span
We design and handcraft our sofas and chairs to ensure they are durable and long-lasting. Every frame comes with a 20-year guarantee. By crafting each piece to order, we eliminate overproduction and reduce waste. Our Revive recovery scheme reflects our commitment to circularity by recovering, reupholstering, and reusing Finline sofas, turning them into lifelong investments rather than disposable items. We take pride in revitalising old sofas with new life.
Reupholstering your sofa with Finline is a responsible and rewarding choice. We create high-quality, durable furniture designed to last a lifetime. If you want to transform your sofa and extend its life, reupholstery offers an impressive and sustainable option.
To keep your upholstery looking its best, we suggest these care tips:
- Maintain cushion shape by flipping and rotating seat and back cushions about once a month.
- Vacuum regularly using a soft brush attachment or a handheld brush to remove dust and debris.
- Address spills promptly by gently blotting with a clean, soft, absorbent cloth to prevent stains.
Most of our fabrics can be treated with a stain resistant coating. We recommend Aqua-dry to assist with both upholstery cleaning and protection.

In contrast, modern sofas focus on minimalist designs with clean lines, straight arms, and low profiles. Typically made from lighter materials like metal, plywood, and foam, modern sofas prioritise functionality and often feature firmer seating. They are generally more affordable and designed for smaller, casual spaces, with some pieces incorporating modular or multifunctional elements like sofa beds.
While traditional sofas tend to be more expensive due to their craftsmanship and durability, modern sofas offer a more budget-friendly, flexible option. Traditional pieces bring timeless elegance, while modern sofas are ideal for those seeking simplicity, space efficiency, and a contemporary aesthetic.
